Which Mazda vehicles have third row seating?

Unlike the CX-9, which came with just one powertrain, Mazda created the CX-90 with several, including the CX-90 PHEV. Like its gas counterpart, the PHEV model can seat up to eight passengers if the driver chooses the Preferred trim. However, the Premium and Premium Plus versions lose one seat, leaving only enough space for seven passengers. They may not seat as many people, but those seven passengers will ride in comfort even if the driver decides to test the estimated maximum range of 450 miles.

The latter two trims also offer those in the second row heated seats, a luxury usually enjoyed in most vehicles by those sitting only in the front seats. If you have the Preferred trim with three rear seats, the trunk can hold 14.9 cubic feet of stuff when both the second and third rows are seated upright. Lowering the third row increases that storage space to 40 cubic feet, and 74.2 cubic feet with both the third and second rows folded. Opting for the seven-seat configuration increases cargo space to 15.9, 40.1, and 75.2 cubic feet, respectively.
