Indrani Mukerjea: Bombay HC extends stay on Indrani’s international tour by 2 weeks | Mumbai News

Mumbai: Bombay HC on Monday extended by two weeks the stay on the CBI court order allowing Indrani Mukerjea, accused of murdering her daughter Sheena Bora, to travel abroad. Justice Shyam Chandak, before whom CBI advocate Shriram Shirsat moved the case, adjourned the hearing after two weeks. The CBI had challenged the special court’s July 19 order allowing Mukerjea to travel to the UK and Spain for 10 days between two hearing dates within the next three months under certain conditions. Mukerjea was arrested in August 2015. In May 2022, the SC granted her bail and directed her not to leave the country without the permission of the CBI court. tnn
